New for 2010

A winter weekend in one of the most beautiful parts of the English Lake District

Lots of walking and mine exploration

Beautifully situated in the remote Newlands Valley, yet thirty minutes drive from Keswick, at O.S. Grid Ref. NY 229 177.Reached by driving or walking the last mile along an unsurfaced track, the hut sleeps 16 and has gas cookers and lighting. One of the most attractive features is the coke pot-bellied stove. Cold water supply fresh from the fells above the hut and a flushing toilet. Facilities are both basic and appreciated by those wishing to get away from it all.

Easter in The BPC Brackenbottom Cottage

Brackenbottom is a traditional Dales longhouse located in the hamlet of Brackenbottom, near Horton-in-Ribblesdale

The footpath up Penyghent starts just outside the door, and it's a good starting point for local caves such as Penyghent Pot, Little Hull Pot, Hunt Pot etc.
